Although not the primary purpose, a psychoeducational assessment with Edcommodate will often be helpful in identifying and/or ruling out ADHD, a relatively common coexisting condition in children with learning disabilities.
When ADHD has been identified in addition to or in place of a learning disability, this will be shared with the family, and client where appropriate, at the feedback session.
Again, appropriate recommendations for targeting symptoms associated with ADHD will be included in the psychoeducational report.
Under certain circumstances, a psychiatric consultation may be arranged at the discretion of the primary clinician.
